Dear Parent, Carers, Students, Staff and Friends of the College,
Organisation is the Key
With another year beginning, our young men have an opportunity to start afresh with their schooling. The organisational skills of the students is the key to this success. As in previous years, we have provided guidance for our young men. This guidance is enhanced with the parent, student and school relationship and is in keeping with the high expectations of our students.
In Week 4 at the Parents Information evening, all parents present would have received their son’s Curriculum guide for their respective year group. This enables a direct conversation with your son on the assessments that are upcoming so they can be successful in their learning. These guides now have an electronic copy on our Assessment Task Site 2025 site. This can also be found on the favourites tab on your Compass page. The information on this site is no different to Compass assessment notifications but it may be an easier tool to navigate the assessment timelines.
Further support for our students is provided for our students from James Green, the College Dux of 2023. James has created links to videos that will help each student organise their emails, documents and planning throughout the year. I encourage each student and parent to look at these great resources as we know that if our young men’s minds are organised then greater learning can occur.
