Outstanding Student Success Story:
Congratulations to our new sailing champions of the College in Luke Mercer (Year 8 ) and Harry Mercer (Year 7). Recently both boys have participated in various sailing championships and have achieved outstanding results.
Luke competed in multiple championships, securing the following results:
2nd place in the State Titles at Great Lakes Sailing Club in Forster
1st place in the Southern New South Wales Titles, winning the championship.
Harry also participated in the National Titles in the Spark Class and won his division. Both Luke and Harry will proudly represent Holy Cross at the upcoming Combined High Schools Regatta, which will be held in Belmont during the coming holidays.
Well done to both Luke and Harry who follow the footsteps of multiple other Holy Cross alumni sailers who are aiming for Olympic Gold.
