LEARNING @ HCC - Year 12 Biology
Year 12 Biology students recently conducted a first-hand investigation into the structure and functions of the mammalian kidney.
Through detailed dissection and examination, students explored the kidney's internal features, including the cortex, medulla, and renal pelvis, and related these structures of their roles in filtering blood and production of urine. This practical activity provided valuable insights into the kidney's function in maintaining the body's internal balance and reinforced key concepts from their studies.
