Our Year 9 Geography students recently stepped out of the classroom and into the heart of Sydney for hands-on fieldwork exploring the "Changing Places" unit.  Investigating urban renewal and transformation in Pyrmont and Bangaroo, students observed first-hand how these dynamic precincts have evolved over time.  From former industrial hubs to thriving residential and commercial centres, the sites provided rich insights into planning sustainability, and the social and environmental impacts of change.  It was a valuable opportunity for students to connect theory with real-world application and deepen their understanding of urban geography.
