Feast of the Holy Cross - Community Award
We are incredibly proud to present this year's Feast of Holy Cross Community Award to Dr. Sam Sorrenti. This award honours an Old Boy who exemplifies Patrician Servant leadership and has made an outstanding impact on their community.
A proud Old Boy who grew up in Top Ryde, Dr. Sorrenti's journey from the halls of Holy Cross to becoming a leading Orthopaedic Surgeon is truly inspiring. For nearly four decades, he has been a pioneer in knee surgery, building an incredible reputation for his expertise and for his dedicated service to the world of Rugby League, including his current role as consulting surgeon for the Parramatta Eels and his original role with the North Sydney Bears.
His distinguished career, his service to the community, and his prestigious honours, including an Italian knighthood, are a powerful testament to a life of purpose. Dr. Sorrenti is a shining example of the values instilled at HCC.
